Through 2013 , the Oslo Center has strenghtened  its profile as a relevant democracy assistance center. In Somalia, the growth has been significant.  The Oslo Center works closely with political parties, the Parliament and the Government. The Oslo Center has even opened a field office in Mogadishu, the first field office in the Oslo Center’s history. The Oslo Center has also started Youth Dialogue programs in Myanmar and South Sudan

The Oslo Center’s number of staff members  has enlarged the last year, and the center’s activities and administration shows an economic surplus.
