Mr. Bondevik is the Founder and Executive Chair of the Oslo Center. He was Prime Minister of Norway 1997-2000 and 2001-2005. He has also been Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Church and Education. He was a member of the Norwegian Parliament from 1973-2005. Mr. Bondevik served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa in 2006-2007. Mr. Bondevik holds the degree of Cand.Theol. and was ordained as a priest in the Lutheran Church of Norway in 1979.
